On April 21, the Junggar Carbon-Neutral Forest was officially unveiled in the afforestation and emission reduction work area of PetroChina Xinjiang Oilfield. Following Ma’anshan Carbon-Neutral Forest in Daqing Oilfield, this is the second carbon-neutral forest built by CNPC. Covering an area of 3,309 mu with 118,000 trees planted, the forest has been certified by Tianjin Emissions Exchange with a Carbon-Neutral Certificate.
