P&T Technologie, the French subsidiary of Energiequelle GmbH, has changed its name and has been trading as Energiequelle SAS since the beginning of February 2024.
The Energiequelle subsidiary has been active in the French market as P&T since 2002 and has developed into an important player in the renewable energy sector there. The company has been part of the Energiequelle Group since 2010 and currently employs more than 50 people.
In addition to the main site in Rennes, Energiequelle has branches in Dijon and Bordeaux in France. In order to meet the company’s continued growth and further staffing requirements, the company has moved into larger offices in Rennes in recent weeks, and a move to larger premises is also planned for Dijon in March.
“Both the new name and the new premises are important steps in the continued growth of our company. The expertise of our employees and the strength of our parent company will enable us to master the new challenges in France,” says Jan Ducouret, Managing Director of Energiequelle SAS, referring to the company’s current developments.
France was Energiequelle’s first market in other European countries. Today, the company is also active in Finland and Poland. In France alone, more than 280 MW have been connected to the grid, and two further wind farms are currently in the realisation phase.
Energiequelle is headquartered in Kallinchen in Brandenburg. Other sites in Germany are located in Berlin, Bremen, Oldenburg, Hanover, Putlitz, Penzing, Erfurt, Dresden, Rostock, Kiel, Magdeburg, Wiesbaden, Leipzig, Stuttgart, Münster, Guntersblum, Spremberg and Luckenwalde. There are also locations in Rennes, Dijon and Bordeaux in France, Helsinki and Vaasa in Finland and Poznan in Poland. With over 550 employees and more than 850 plants with a total output of around 1,700 MW, Energiequelle is one of the leading companies in the industry.
